Hi, I'm Kari Rafalik.
I am a passionate event professional with proven success in full-scale program planning and execution. With over 15 years experience working in various aspects of event design, management and live production, I have produced projects for a vast array of clients including Vans, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, In-N-Out, Major League Soccer, Yokohama, Yamaha, USC, Pelican, Postmates and AEG. From design thru production, I coordinate every aspect of large scale events & display work including custom fabrication, grand format printing, A-list concerts, corporate events, trade shows, press junkets, permanent installations, fan festivals, experiential activations and more.
My goal is to make your event successful, beautiful and engaging... and to have a little fun doing it.

Landon Donovan Statue Unveiling
ROLE: Lead Producer.
SCOPE: Ceremony to unveil bronze Landon Donovan statue at Dignity Health Sports Park's Circle of Champioms. Scope included a timed kubuki drop curtain, confetti cannon, audio, video, staging, truss, graphics, seating, and fencing.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinated all audio, video, staging, furniture, lighting, rigging, power and logistics. Led creative for layout, flow and graphic design & production. Oversaw installation & dismantle. Called Show. Managed rider advancements. Managed Stage and co-created ROS.
Vans Leadership Summit
ROLE: Lead Producer.
SCOPE: 3-day management summit including daily general sessions, 6 breakout spaces, lounge/unplug areas, photo ops & surprise/delights, meals services, off-site party, give-back event, awards ceremony and after party including performance by 21 Savage.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Main Client liaison. Coordinated all audio, video, staging, lighting, rigging, power and logistics, as well as project managed all creative applications including stage graphics, floral, experiences, meals, way-finding, hotel branding and presentations. As lead producer I also played a vital role in concepting activations and overall event flow, as well as stage managed / managed the ROS; and fulfilled talent tech and hospitality riders.
